about
Your Unfolding Self · michelle Nardone

I offer one-on-one sessions and courses grounded in somatic principles and wisdom traditions. I help people reconnect with their embodied self awareness and what truly lights them up. Life’s challenging waves become easier to navigate when we are deeply rooted within ourselves and connected to our source.
In 2002, after traveling for a year abroad with my partner and son, I settled in Denmark. There, I spearheaded the development of the country’s first bachelor degrees in Animation and CG Arts at The Animation Workshop; VIA University College. Over the years leading the department, the program became world renowned in the field, contributing to the school’s current standing as the 3rd best animation school globally (Animation Career Review, 2024) and as a creative hub that was recognised as a UNESCO Creative City for Media Arts. I had the opportunity to work with hundreds of professional artists, enabling them to develop their unique voices and competencies.
My work was both deeply satisfying and demanding. I loved collaborating with the people I worked with and the creative energy we cultivated together daily. And like most people in our current work culture, I experienced overwhelm from time to time as the demands began to exceed the hours in the day.
Keenly aware my body was trying to get my attention, I sought a holistic way to support myself and those I served. Being grounded and practical as well as open and curious, I deepened my studies integrating aspects of mindfulness, somatics, neuroscience, and stress release into my life and work. Ultimately, always returning to practices that reconnect me to my inner resources and trust in my natural way of being.
In 2021, I decided to devote my energy to create – Your Unfolding Self. My intention is to co-create a space of light curiosity and compassionate empowerment, as you deepen your embodied self-awareness, connect to your inner resources, and explore what you are bringing into being. I truly believe we all have a beautiful gift to offer the world, sometimes hidden within or buried underneath the conditioning of who we think we should be.
Our life circumstance affect us, though they do not need to define us. Neuroscience shows what we practice grows stronger. We can create neural pathways, leading to greater presence, inner stability and trust in ourselves as we forge ahead with what gives us true purpose and meaning.
I welcome you to open a space within and embrace how your life and projects want to live through you in resonance with the natural ebb and flow.
I look forward to meeting you.
