Body Therapist & Somatic Coach – Copenhagen

With over 20 years of experience leading groups, teaching, coaching, mentoring and supporting healing, I work with people navigating life transitions, burnout, stress, trauma and the quiet longing to return to themselves.

My sessions are available in English and Danish, in person in Copenhagen and online.


My approach

My work is rooted in supporting people to return to themselves — to reconnect, restore balance and build resilience, so their way forward can unfold from within.

I offer body therapy (kropsterapi), somatic coaching, therapeutic massage, yoga, breathwork and Human Design sessions. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Focusing, Havening Techniques, neuroscience-informed bodywork and contemplative practices.

These approaches are not used as techniques in isolation — but as ways of meeting what is present in you, allowing each session to adapt to your needs in the moment.

Whether you are recovering from burnout, navigating a life transition, releasing old patterns or simply ready to know yourself more deeply — this work meets you where you are.

My intention is to support you in restoring balance, reconnecting with yourself and moving forward with greater clarity, wholeness and steadiness.


My path

My path has been shaped by both lived experience and ongoing study, guided by a deep curiosity about the relationship between body, mind, and spirit.

I grew up on the coast of Rhode Island, where my connection to nature began. After a near-death accident in my youth, I instinctively turned to embodiment practices, wisdom traditions, and the creative arts as a way back to safety and meaning.

Yoga and Insight Meditation was central to my practice of returning to myself and integrating my experiences. As a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, I value sharing these practices to support well-being and awareness.

As a young mother, I moved to California and became immersed in Montessori education and holistic learning, deepening my commitment to whole-person development.

In 2002, I settled in Denmark and led the development of the country’s first bachelor’s degree in Animation. For more than a decade, I supported artists in finding their creative voice and guided teams through complex, evolving environments.

Over time, a quieter inner calling emerged—one that led me back to myself and the deeper layers of experience. This path expanded into the therapeutic and somatic work that shapes my practice today.

In 2021, I founded Your Unfolding Self—a space to explore your inner landscape with curiosity, compassion, and courage, and to move forward with a greater sense of connection and well-being.


I believe each of us carries something essential—often hidden beneath who we have learned to be.

My work invites you to listen more deeply, reconnect with yourself, and allow your life to unfold from a place that feels true.

Your Unfolding Self

Michelle Nardone works with body therapy, trauma treatment, somatic coaching, and therapeutic massage and IFS. She teaches mindfulness, somatics and yoga.
