Autumn Urban Yoga Retreat

Step away from the daily grind and join us for a one-day urban yoga retreat at the Gallery NB in Viborg. Whether you’re looking to deepen your yoga practice or simply take a break and connect to the season of autumn through movement, breath-work and creative expression, this one-day retreat offers the perfect urban landscape. 

Guided by Hana Kortegaard and Michelle Nardone the retreat will feature a series of practices that align with the autumn, helping you find balance, grounding, and a sense of calm as we settle deep into the fall season and all it has to offer.

In addition, you’ll enjoy a nourishing meal that complements the day’s focus on wellness and self-care. Join us for a day of rejuvenation and return feeling refreshed and inspired.

Retreat Program

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Welcome and Opening Circle 
Meeting and greeting 
Introduction to the day's schedule and intentions
Brief grounding exercise and breath-work to set the tone

9:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Morning Hatha Flow Session - Hana
Flow class to energise and awaken the body
Focus on aligning with the autumnal shift, grounding postures and balance

11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Refreshment Break
Refreshments and herbal teas
Walk through the gallery and see the current art 

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Somatic Practices - Michelle
Introduction to somatic connection with the body’s communication
Learn techniques you can utilise in your daily life to resource when needed

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Nourishing Lunch

1:30 PM - 2.30 PM: Movement practice and a walk (weather dependent) - Hana
Gentle Movement practice, rest and digest
 
2:45 PM - 3:15 PM: Yoga Nidra / Visualisation - Autumn Theme - Hana
Deepening connection within to autumn

3:15 PM - 4:30 PM: Creative Expression - Hana / Michelle
Journaling or art-based activity to reflect on the autumn theme - writing, drawing or collage - Bring your own journal. Art Materials will be provided.

4:30 - 5:00 Art Reflection and Tea - Hana / Michelle

About Your Hosts

Hana Kortegaard is a yoga teacher and coach expanding into yoga therapy. Certified in Yoga Nidra, Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, Coaching, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, she blends knowledge and traditional wisdom to create supportive spaces for stress relief, wellness, and deeper connection. Her approach helps you to tap into what inspires and brings joy, play, openness, and ease in life.

Michelle Nardone is a trauma informed Somatic Coach, Mindfulness Mentor and Yoga Teacher. She is certified in Iyengar and Yin Yoga and weaves her mindfulness and somatic knowledge into her yoga teaching. She welcomes you to open a space within, tune into your inner knowing and embrace how your life wants to live through you in resonance with its natural ebb and flow.
